I am writing to complain about the iPhone 4 I bought from the Apple Store in Mongkok Yesterday. Its screen was scratched and the touchscreen was not functioning. When I called to the customer service hotline, the staff member was very rude and refused to offer me a new phone as a replacement.

The iPhone 4 costs me around HKD5000 and it is not in a sound condition after one day of my purchase. I am a Apple fan and own a lot Apple products. Since I have confidence in this brand so I would like to have a replacement of the phone as compensation.

We are sorry that the iPhone you bought from us was unsatisfactory.

Our dispatch department usually tries its best to see that every item is in its right condition before it is sent out.
Unfortunately, your iPhone was an unexpected mistake due to an accident happened in the logistic process. Such an accident happened very rarely.

I have instructed our retail department to send you a new iPhone 4 this week. They will telephone you to arrange a suitable time to deliver the phone. (old phone?)

For the rudness reponse of our customer service staff, we have already looked into the case and check if there is any misbehaviour of the staff. The investigation is on going and we will give you a proper reply as soon as possible.
